To be responsible for providing valuable service delivery, pre-sales and licence consultancy services to our customers throughout the UK. You will guide customers through the process of data gathering and analysis for software asset management engagements and produce clear and accurate reports to present your findings. Ensuring the quality of projects, you will identify, handle and escalate any risks or issues that occur. The successful candidate will need to be able to identify commercial compliance, business risk opportunity and to possess the skills to communicate at an executive level. Provide support to junior team members, and develop their skills.
Complete service delivery customer account ownership and management.
Undertake individual consultancy assignments, analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data, recommending solutions and mitigating activities.
On-boarding new client accounts – take the technical lead using multiple resources to implement a new account in to BAU to time and quality.
Preparation of effective license position reports across multiple vendors.
Preparing and delivering executive reporting to customer stakeholders.
Uncovering new customer opportunities and co-ordinating strategy meetings / workshops; to include presenting solutions from a commercial and business perspective.
Escalation point for all other Livingstone teams (data, administration, consultancy).
Full responsibility and management of client vendor audits / reviews.
Analysis of market changes and assessing impact on customer licensing and cascading to other Livingstone departments.
Identification of continual internal process improvement.
To be responsible for delivery of licence analysis and optimisation solutions across multiple vendors, manage the delivery of expert SAM managed services and software license expertise to multiple customer accounts. To provide subject matter expertise for at least 2 complex Tier 1 Vendors, such as IBM, Oracle, SAP, and Attachmate with a working knowledge of at least a further 2 complex vendors and to provide training and support to junior members of the team. Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of data centre infrastructure and its impact on software licensing. . The successful candidate will need to be able to identify commercial compliance, business risk opportunity and to possess the skills to communicate at an executive level. Provide support to junior team members, and develop their skills. Delegate to more senior members of the team as required.
To lead the delivery of Managed Service reporting to one or more customer accounts. Take responsibility for the successful delivery of all account related activities, utilising resource from the wider Livingstone skill-base as required.
To be the subject matter expert on at least two complex Tier1 or 2 vendors such as IBM, Oracle, SAP, Attachmate and to have a good working knowledge across at least a further 2 complex vendors.
To obtain and maintain at least 2 MCP certifications (from Licensing, SAM and Technical).
To continually update your skillset by learning new vendor licensing rules, product usage rights and to educate junior licensing team. Administration and consultancy teams around architecture and complex licensing.
To perform data verification and analysis across multiple data sources and types and produce clear reporting.
To undertake individual consultancy assignments, analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data, recommending solutions and mitigating activities.
To identify opportunities within and outside of Livingstone’s customer base and to co-ordinate meetings to discuss solutions.
To provide industry expertise to help develop the Livingstone Technology Solution.
To delegate for more senior members of the team as required and to provide support to more junior members of the team.
Drive new sales revenue to achieve our ambitious revenue growth objectives. Customer acquisition is the main focus. Sales executives are expected to drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closing. This role is a mixture of inside and outside sales where candidates are expected to perform their own lead generation activities in addition to company sponsored leads.
